What Happens When You Edit Images

Administrators can manage which images are available for Users to insert into editable image modules within Radiate campaigns. When images are edited, the following results will happen to the campaign or template.

This feature is available for users with the Administrator role.

Campaign State Result
Unscheduled Campaign Automatically updated when proofed.
Scheduled Campaign

Will not change in the scheduled campaign if you don't do anything.

WILL change if you re-proof, even if you don't unschedule the campaign.

Template Variant

For an existing campaign created with the template variant, when you re-proof, the change is automatically applied.

When you create a new campaign with the template variant, the change applies without having to edit the template variant.

When an Image is Disabled

Template Variant

A disabled image stays in the template variant and you're able to create a campaign with it.

Radiate users will no longer see the image in the list of available images.

When an Image URL Path is Changed

If your images are stored in your corporate content manager, your images have an Image URL Path.

We recommend avoiding changing image paths for any existing images being used in campaigns. Regardless of the campaign state, this will require users to manually change any campaigns or templates where that image is in use.

We recommend disabling the current image so it can no longer be used in new campaigns. Then, add a new image that can be used as the replacement going forward.
