Access Controls
Radiate access controls manage how users log in and how their accounts are protected, including password requirements, Single Sign On (SSO), and session security.

User Account Setup
By default, Radiate accounts are set up with the user's email address and tied to a specific Group and role, then optionally a subset of locations.
When first set up, the user receives an email prompting them to create a password before accessing the application.
Password Requirements
Passwords must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 8 characters
- At least 1 uppercase letter
- At least 1 lowercase letter
- At least 1 number
- At least 1 special character
Single Sign On (SSO)
Radiate supports Single Sign On (SSO) for organizations that prefer centralized authentication.
To enable SSO for your account, please contact your Sageflo Account Manager.
Login and Session Security Controls
For accounts that use a password and not Single Sign On, the following access controls apply:
Failed Login Attempts
- 5 consecutive failed attempts within 15 minutes will result in an automatic lockout from their account.
Failed Login Period
- Once locked out, the user must wait 15 minutes before attempting to log in again.
- If another failed attempt occurs after the lockout expires, the 15-minute cooldown period resets from the most recent failed attempt.
Session Timeout
- If a logged-in user is inactive for 8 hours, they will be automatically logged out of Radiate.
