Inserting Personalization Tokens (AKA Merge Tokens)

Personalization helps make your campaigns more engaging by automatically inserting customer-specific details, such as their first name, store name, store address, or store manager's name. You can easily add personalization using merge tokens in your campaign content.

If merge tokens are not enabled for your account, please reach out to your Sageflo Account Manager.

On the Edit Campaign page (the second step of creating and editing a campaign), click into an editable content section. In sections where formatting is available, you'll see a toolbar appear at the top.

To add personalization to your campaign, click the Insert Merge Token icon.

From the dropdown, select the merge token you'd like to insert. The available options will depend on what your corporate team has set up.

The merge token will appear in your content as an orange box. When the campaign is sent, that section will be personalized for each recipient based on the data in your customer engagement platform.

Review your campaign proof carefully to ensure personalization displays as expected.

If you notice missing or incorrect personalization details after proofing, contact your marketing team to update.
